Designed to integrate with Setcom MOCS II wireless communication systems, these wireless SpeakerMics deliver clear transmit and receive audio while eliminating the limitations of traditional wired speaker microphones.

Multiple configurations are available to support compatibility with a wide range of portable radio models and system requirements.

Operational Overview

MOCS II PO Wireless SpeakerMics allow officers and operators to communicate reliably without being tethered to their radios. Using Setcom’s proven wireless platform, these SpeakerMics support consistent audio performance in dynamic, high-movement environments such as motor operations, traffic enforcement, escorts, and tactical deployments.

Each variant is engineered for specific radio compatibility, ensuring proper push-to-talk functionality and audio clarity when paired with the appropriate radio system and MOCS II configuration.

Construction

Each Wireless SpeakerMic is built with rugged, field-ready components designed to withstand vibration, weather exposure, and daily operational use. The housing is engineered for durability, while the integrated microphone, speaker, and controls are optimized for use with gloves and protective gear.

Select models are designated NCNR (Non-Cancelable, Non-Returnable) due to radio-specific and configuration-specific requirements.

Standard vs. Alt Configuration (Important Selection Guidance)

MOCS II PO Wireless SpeakerMics are offered in Standard and Alt Configuration versions. Both provide the same wireless audio performance; the difference lies in how the SpeakerMic interfaces with the radio and MOCS II system wiring.

Standard Configuration (SBTA- Series)

Standard configuration SpeakerMics are designed for typical MOCS II system installations and are the most commonly used option.

• Intended for standard Setcom wiring layouts

• Commonly used for new installs

• Recommended unless Setcom or the installer specifies otherwise

Alt Configuration (SBTE- Series)

Alt configuration SpeakerMics are designed for non-standard or legacy system layouts.

• Used for alternate wiring or interface configurations

• Common in retrofit or upgraded installations

• Required when specified by Setcom or the system installer

Standard and Alt configurations are not interchangeable.
Selecting the incorrect configuration may result in loss of transmit, receive, or push-to-talk functionality.

If unsure which configuration is required, verification with the installer or Setcom is strongly recommended prior to ordering.
